Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Word Loop ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of service

Word Loop is a vocabulary learning application that uses AI to generate learning content (definitions, examples, quizzes) and spaced-repetition scheduling to help you retain new words. The App is provided by CodeWiz ("we", "us", or "our"). An account is required to use the App.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Word Loop. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; (c) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (d) use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the App; (e) interfere with the App's operation or other users' access.

Intellectual property

The App, including its design, code, and brand, is owned by CodeWiz and protected by intellectual property laws. AI-generated learning content (definitions, examples, quizzes) is provided for your personal learning use only. You retain ownership of the words you add to your library.

AI-generated content

Word Loop uses AI to generate definitions, example sentences, quizzes, and other learning material. This content is provided for educational purposes and may occasionally contain errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeWiz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases and we may delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Netherlands.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
